Fun while sailing

It was a bit windy!

Harry sets of with good intent but poor direction.

 

 

But you won't be getting far without sails!

 

 

Topper rigging

The team learn how to rig their Topper.

 

The participants where split into 4 teams for the weekend.

On the Saturday two teams did Kayaking, two teams did sailing.

 

For the Kayaking teams it involved a safety briefing and then basic skills.

For all the teams it was an opportunity to become familiar with the equipment and terminology so they could apply the basic skills when they arrive on the Loch in Scotland.

The sun was shining but there was brisk breeze which proved to be a challenge for some of the Scouts and more than a few had a swim in the lovely water...
